Hey guys,

Just letting you know, to advertise on our site, you must allow guests to post their advertisements back on your site. If you could fix this, since you've posted on our site and we can't post back, it would be great =)

You haven't got your advertising board set so that guests can post in it =)

Yep. You can go to Admin, click on modify board, and click on the Advertising board. It will give you lots of options to customize it, and there is something somewhere that says you can make guest friendly or allow guests to post on it.

Otherwise, I am afraid I will have to delete your ad if I can't advertise on your site

That is stupid and i dont let guests post on my forum cause its stupid when geusts ask stupid questions.You do not need to advertise ur site cause ive already seen it.

You're missing the point of advertising. As an affiliate of the CF administration team, we advertise or affiliate with each other's forums so that we can share members and so that guests can explore a variety of sites. That is how advertising works, you won't get many members using the method you currently intend to, or from being rude to other sites attempting to help.

What we're trying to say, is that if you advertise on other people's sites, but don't let them advertise back on yours (which is how the advertising system for roleplays works), then they're just going to delete your ad off their site, and then nobody will see your ad and you're not going to get any members.

We're just trying to help you out, so please don't be so rude. We asked you no stupid questions, and didn't ask you to join our sites. We were polite to you so it's only common courtesy/sense to be the same towards us, especially when a lot of other people probably wouldn't have been so nice about it.

I'm not particularly happy - since you ask - because I think you have behaved appallingly towards multiple people here who were merely trying to help.

When CF brought it up, you asked why they couldn't post back, that was the right thing to do. Then for some reason you went on the defensive and were frankly incredibly rude to the people who were attempting to help out.

Quite honestly, SYATS has plenty of active, good quality roleplayers and an excellent, creative staff team so we don't desperately need more members to keep it going. I do not wish you, personally, on our site even if you had the time because we have a system of common courtesy and respect unless undeserved, things you quite clearly lack a concept of.

I'm rude? You accused a good and intelligent friend of mine of asking stupid questions when she was trying to - and please, listen to this carefully - help improve your forum. You seemed to be purposefully rude in your next response and unnecessarily aggressive.

I was attempting to assist (and for some reason, I still am, though I've given up attempting politeness) by suggesting how you could gain further members and how to interact with other sites. The latter you have already failed at, the former I'm pretty sure you're going to.

One piece of advice before I go, take a few hours some day and go through your admin options, get to know them. You see, you can ban non-members, which you would be aware of if you spent a little time looking at your options.

And for Cthulhu's sake: use spell check.

Guys, seriously, stop fighting. Clarib, all they were saying was that you should make the advertisements boards guest friendly. That's all. If someone asks a "stupid question" delete the thread/post.

Wow, Clarib. They just want to advertise their sites too because it's not fair if they can't. And saying that guests ask stupid questions is mean because they just want to know more. They asked you in a calm manner to just let them post their advertisments. Seeing you then get all defensive makes me sick because of how rude you are. This site should have common curtosy and politness, not being rude to other guests because they simply want to advertise their sites. I don't care if I sound rude right now, because reading this whole thread is making me quite mad. It makes me question having you has an admin on my site. Please change your attitude, or I will leave this site.
