I probably have no say in this guys, but I ride at a farm that trains horses everyday. You would usually begin training a horse to have the bit in their mouth and to carry a saddle on their backs at age 2 and 3. Some trainers believe it is acceptable to work a three year old under saddle, but most wait until the horse is more mature. The average age for a horse to be fully trained is 5 years old. At age 3 the joints are still growing and the horse is still maturing. Horses at age 3 too are also startled more, and therefore it would be pretty difficult to ride them.

So, Ruby is actually right. And you shouldn't call people stupid, Clarib, even when the person is right, and when the person is your best friend. I wouldn't say that kinds of things to my friends, even if we get in a fight. If you want this to be realistic, you should probably listen to what I said before this ^^^ Hope I could help:)

Clarib, I ride at a training facility. You don't wanna ride a horse at 3 years old a lot because their joints are maturing still. If Bobo were to ride her horse like she would with a horse that was over the age of 5, Ms. Lee would have a bigger chance of becoming lame. If this horse were to be already fully trained, then the training would have been started when the horse was just a foal and that is a bad time for training any horse. I'm sorry for getting into this, but Ruby is actually 100% correct, and I just wanted to let you know that.
